Our Mission 

Air Car Magazine is a magazine with a difference. More than just gadgets, run-abouts, grease monkeys, or Hollywood gossip, we showcase technology and ideas that can make our planet a more interesting place for us to live - and to hand over to our kids and then their kids again in time.

We say "Air Car" - and we talk about air technologies too; but "Air Car" is as much a euphamism for a brighter future as it is about a cleaner automobile - read more about this is in "Where did I leave my flying car?" . You will probably notice this blending in our articles as we try to strike a balance in discussions of "the present" versus the topic's long term social potential - or impact.

Help us get the message out - and to get the message right - with your stories of:

• Ideas and "Next Steps" or Roadmaps
  • This is the really powerful stuff - so write about it. Are we missing the forest for the trees? What happened to the button pushing, robot maid-ed, air car flying lagabout George Jetson future of mankind?
  • What are the big ideas that will deliver that bright future we were promised back in the 1960s.
  • What are the steps needed to get us there? Write about your plans to deliver us to a brighter future  (See "A Tale of Two Futures" and "Where did I leave my flying car?" as examples).

  • old ideas made new again - moth-balled technologies and ideas whose time has come
  • rants about what you want to see in the showroom the next time you need to buy a new car.

If our discussion topics make sense to you, or if they don't make sense to you, then register, login and create an article and tell us why. We encourage short essays of between 300 and 700 words - but we make exceptions. We ask that you document or link your research, so that assertions can be verified, and we ask that the work be original, and not copied from other publications without express consent of the author to add it here at Air Car Magazine.
