All products and technologies are not created equal when measuring their ability to improve, or impact, the world we live in.

Some products and ideas announce technology to the world that will truely lead to a brighter future and a better place to leave to our children. The vast majority of new products announced annually, however, offer little more than a new way to propogate a profitable, or potentially harmful, status-quo technology or idea that benefits mankind in a neutral or even adverse way over time.

Four designations are assigned to new product announcements at Air Car as follows:

1.  Future - Friendly

2.  Future - Positive

3.  Future - Neutral

4.  Future - Negative

Criterion for Future-Friendly designations is structured and pains are taken to minimize argument.

Generally, products relying on the combustion of non-renewable energy sources would score poorly on our scale. Products that truly promise to improve mankind's lot in life - would score highest on our scale.

Look for "Future Friendly" designations throughout our articles and product reviews.
